WHAT’S THE SONG ABOUT? The song is really about the transient nature of relationships today. From hopeful early stages (hopes of betterment, vulnerability etc), civil break ups, the distractions of the alternatives, and sometimes frustration and anger. WHAT’S THE SONG SOUND LIKE? Principle musical inspirations are Heroe's era Bowie's for the Eno/Fripp guitars, MBV, maybe some Ride, and a little Suede in the chaotic melodic duelling guitar lines.
