Jinku
Raising Angela
Listen
Raising Angela is a sonic exploration of what it feels
like to raise a child.
The song's name and cover were inspired by Jinku's auntie. It encapsulates her journey from childhood into adulthood and finally raising children of her own.
The song's pulse is her lifeline, ebbing and flowing as
the stages of human life, finally ending with the pulse
it began with; death.
