The Shrugs
Shoebox
Listen
The Shrugs' new single 'Shoebox' was written pre-pandemic by Jed Holmes and addresses the state of the Sydney rental and housing markets. It takes 90s indie rock and catapults it into the 21st century with taut and wistful verses that give way to a blistering chorus that heads skyward on the effervescent vocal blend of Sophia Evans & Lauren Crew and buzzing guitars that stop/start and swing with heady precision.
