Melton & Miller Music is excited to announce the release of The Last Moonshiner, a new single from old friends and frequent collaborators Buddy Melton & Milan Miller. Written by Thomm Jutz and Milan, the song departs from the more common bluegrass tales of bootleggers running from the law to offer an insider’s perspective about the evolution of the moonshine trade to include products that are legalized, commercialized, and mass produced.
In addition to Buddy (lead vocal, upright bass) and Milan (acoustic guitar, harmony vocal), the track features Aubrey Haynie (fiddle), Justin Moses (resophonic guitar), and Seth Taylor (mandolin, banjo).
