'Eternal' arrives on darkly chiming guitar chords that hang heavy in the air before a gothic, electronic rhythm section enters the fray beneath James Harrison's keening, melancholic vocal, shadowed by the voice of Danielle Loughnan. As well as the electro-noir influences of Chromatics and The Midnight, there are also shades of Underground Lovers' synth dalliances and the dark melancholia of Something For Kate in the yearning drift and steady pulse of 'Eternal'.
