The Petrov Affair
Men Are A Luxury Item

The Petrov Affair emerged from the creative evolution of The Ancient Marinators, as founders Murray Lee and Bruce Thomas set out to forge a sharper, more intimate sound that fuses electronica with avant‑pop and art‑rock.
Slightly psychedelic, atmospheric, and irresistibly melodic, the new album is strikingly original yet echoes the literate sensibilities of Australian icons like Underground Lovers, The Go-Betweens, The Apartments, international acts such as Destroyer, Lambchop, and Air.
