Selin Sümbültepe's new release "Hemhal" (to unite, in English), produced by Lebanese global music pioneer Zeid Hamdan, celebrates the culture of Hatay, Selin's home region in Southeastern Turkey. "Hemhal" is music of joy and for the soul, blending indie pop with the rich tradition of Turkey. Selin Sümbültepe's Fusion Folk Pop, with songs of love and of hope, should be listened to by people who have an open mind for discovery, who do not like borders and who rejoice in the universality of music.
