On the new single 'Stay Gold', the band dig into a garage stomp, in the spirit of Lewsberg or Parquet Courts, with rolling bass, jangly guitar stabs and a euphoric chorus and horn section. It's yet another slice of infectious and eclectic guitar pop from Restless Leg!
Things get more ominous and moody on the B-side that accompanies 'Stay Gold'. The instrumental 'Blood on The Vines' combines surf guitar and a noir film aesthetic, complete with some stellar saxophone from bassist Fiona Whalley.
