ith this track, KAYPAIGE seeks to tap into an unexplored side of herself. “I listened to a lot of classic slow jams and sexy R&B growing up,” KAYPAIGE shares. “I haven’t really gotten into that much, so I wanted to try and combine that with my own sound and point of view.”
“To You, For Me” has a playful narrative; leaning into the idea that pleasing another can be a selfish act singing, “I’m going to give it to you for me -- call it selfishly”.
