All the members of Juno Point have spent countless hours and years with other bands on the Australian indie music scene. Listeners may be familiar with names such as Ukiyo-e, The Cannanes, El Mopa and Tweezer.
'Skimming', which possesses a sound and mood akin to Bill Callahan fronting Mogwai. It finds the group settling into restrained and beautifully hypnotic grooves that drift between languid, cascading guitar notes and more urgent passages.
