Elyse Rich took the original and thrusted it into a new dimension of electronic bliss via a full throttle 303 acid line which replaces the prominent centre-stage elements of the original and teleports the atmosphere of the original into something entirely dancefloor-centric. As to be expected with a remix that crossed genres in this most unexpected fashion – it’s mainly Fernando Poma’s original vocals that survive the remix process as implementing other acoustic instruments from the Rock and Blues world is a real genre-bending task – but Elyse somehow manages to even work in the guitar riffs, stacked with synths and electronic basslines without ever sounding out of place, which is easier said than done. ~Reaktion
